The Fast and Furious 9 family seems to be growing by the day! After several teasers from Vin Diesel regarding new cast members, Universal revealed in June that John Cena has signed on to feature in Fast & Furious 9, the ninth edition of the long-running franchise (though his specific role is being kept hush-hush). The actor, wrestler, and game-show presenter will be among long-time Furious cast members like Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, and Michelle Rodriguez, but he isn’t the only newcomer.
Michael Rooker of Guardians of the Galaxy fame, as well as Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron of The Fate of the Furious, were revealed to join the cast in August. Ozuna is also going behind the wheel, which was just confirmed. Despite recent cast turmoil, this is fantastic news for the upcoming edition of the Fast and Furious franchise! Filming began in late June, with the picture set to be released on May 22, 2020 (barring any more setbacks). Fast and Furious 9 About
Fast and Furious 9 (previously known as F9) is already available. It was originally scheduled for release in May of last year. F9 was one of the first blockbusters to be pushed back in the early days of the COVID-19 epidemic, and it now arrives just before cinemas reopen in the US and UK. That means F9 isn’t available on HBO Max or any other streaming provider, so you should always respect local laws and only go to a place if you feel safe and secure. It’s just a movie, after all. But, regardless of how or when you view Fast and Furious 9, you can be confident that you will be seeing a film. Like, perhaps the most movie-est movie ever.

From Avengers: Infinity War, Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez have retired to the farm and are dedicated to living off the grid with curly-haired Little Brian in this ninth episode of the automobile action-fest. When their old criminal group comes calling, neither of them can say no to dashing around the world in muscle shirts and muscle cars performing jacked-up superspy nonsense. This time, A-Team-style shootouts with unidentified military personnel result in one half of a superweapon item. What exactly is it? Who gives a damn, man. All that counts is that Vin and the group are on the wrong side of a familiar figure.
Review Fast and Furious 9 Movie
Following its release in China and South Korea, the film received largely positive early reviews and raced to a massive $162 million opening last month. We won’t have to wait long, since the UK release has been pushed ahead to coincide with the US release. Returning director Justin Lin said the film was “fully done” in November 2020, thanking his staff for “working through such unusual times perfectly” in reference to *waves hands* EVERYTHING that was going on.
When you see F9, it’s difficult to dispute. The film travels the globe (action sequences take place in London and Edinburgh), and for the first time, two protagonists are sent into space to destroy a satellite. In case you’re curious, the fictitious characters are well aware of how ridiculous some of their actions are, and in the most recent film, they even mention how weird it is that they always manage to leave perilous situations unscathed.

The team comes together in F9 to foil a world-shattering scheme hatched by Dom’s estranged brother Jakob (John Cena), who also happens to be the most proficient assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever met. Charlize Theron, Cardi B, and Dame Helen Mirren all make cameo cameos in the film.

With each installment, the stakes grew higher and the stunts became more ridiculous, but even as the story morphed into the kind of high-octane soap opera suggested by the series’ It always felt as if these meat-headed spectacles irresponsibly grew in a sense before Lin bowed out — amnesia, false deaths, and unexplained retcons were all in play before Lin bowed out that allowed them to circle on the characters’ coffins. The dolly-zoom effect turned the image of Vin Diesel driving a vehicle out of an exploding military jet at the end of an 18.37-mile-long runway into a poignant representation of a #Family under fire.

Wednesday saw the debut of a new teaser for the forthcoming thriller “F9.” The film will be released about a year after it was scheduled to debut in May 2020. In January 2020, the first trailer debuted.
Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez), Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson), Tej Parker (Ludacris), Han Lue (Sung Kang), and Magdalene Shaw (Helen Mirren) are among the “Fast & Furious” cast members who will reprise their roles. Mia Toretto is played again by Jordana Brewster. In the new film, Jakob Toretto, played by John Cena, will square battle against the “Furious” characters.
Fast fans have had to wait four years for the next installment in the franchise, and it’s been even longer since the first teaser for Fast 9 was released, promising a family-friendly chapter in which Vin Diesel’s street-racer-turned-super-spy Dominic Toretto battles WWE star John Cena’s long-lost brother Jakob. While the release of F9 inspired a fresh wave of memes centered on Diesel’s Dom and his love for his family, it’s understandable that after 20 years of establishing the gang, they’d be wary of bringing in someone new, especially if they may have a future in the series. Though it may not come as a surprise to some that Cena would ultimately be welcomed by the Fast ensemble, it should comfort some to know that, despite his evil tendencies, Jakob is just as close to the star-producer as those who have been with him since the beginning. Even if the mainstream series is coming to an end soon, the connections formed on set by the cast and crew will undoubtedly survive a long time.
About Fast and Furious 9 Release Date
Fast & Furious 9 is currently available in certain areas of the world, but it will be released in UK and US theaters on June 24 and 25, respectively.
The film was moved back a whole year from its original release date of May 2020 to April 2021, before being pushed back again to May and then June 2021 in the United States.
Fortunately, unless something very awful happens, those June dates will not change.

Fast and Furious 9 Cast Vin Diesel, Justin Lin, Clayton Townsend, Neal H. Moritz, Samantha Vincent, Joe Roth, Jeff Kirschenbaum, Fast and Furious 9 increases the stakes in the family drama that drives so much of the action by adding a hidden flesh-and-blood Torretto. Even for a series that used the amnesia card years before, Jakob’s unexpected arrival may be too much of a retcon. Extensive flashbacks to a pivotal incident in Dom and Jakob’s early lives (with the younger Torrettos performed excellently by Vinnie Bennett and Finn Cole, respectively) successfully establishes the groundwork for the rest of the film groundwork, establishing an irreparable rivalry between the two while giving us a rare glimpse into the events that turned Dom into a mechanical messiah.
While it’s never very profound, it succeeds on an emotional level, with every greeting-card platitude delivered with such street-sage seriousness that you believe it even if you don’t. Everything is unmistakably familiar, yet the film also manages to introduce some pleasant twists. As Letty and Jordana Brewster’s Mia prepare to embark on a trip to Tokyo together, more central roles are long needed. Meanwhile, Lin can sneak gritty, no-frills street races back into a series that abandoned them in the rearview mirror years ago thanks to those flashbacks.
