Recently, fast and Furious franchise Furious Michelle Rodriguez apparently confirmed that the next installment in the series, F9 will feature action game in space, validating years people joking on the internet that the Furious daffily escapist eventually would be forced to head space at the top of its previous stunts. Now, Seth Rogen has revealed on Twitter that the idea of Fast and Furious: Space Edition, had been floating around a decade ago.

A few years ten years ago, I and @evandgoldberg out with one of the producers of Fast and Furious franchise. Evan quipped, ‘you must go to space!’ The producer looked at us very seriously, and said … “Not yet.

A decade ago, the franchise Fast and Furious was still relatively based on his approach stunts and action scenes, although they have not yet featured submarines friction or parachuting cars. But it seems that even then the producers knew that was the direction the franchise is heading in, which could naturally only culminate in Dominic Toretto and his team take off into space to drill an asteroid on your face or something So. While it was supposed F9 to release this year, the blockade has delayed its release for a full year, and that the delay is what Rodriguez blamed for the loss of information when asked about rumors of a sequence space in the movie.

Oh, no way. How do you find out? See what happens? People start talking behind the scenes, man. When a movie does not come out and forget about it, things get out. No one was supposed to know … Oh, well, no, I’m not, I’m not, I have not fortunate enough space success

While the actress will not be part of Fast and Furious going to outer space, expressed joy at the fact that the film hired a writer who was able to add some weight to the female characters in the film, Rodriguez often feel left out of action for men.

Fans were already promoted by F9 even before I knew I was going to file a space-based action. The film will see the return of the fans favorite character Han, who had apparently been killed by Deckard Shaw in a previous installment of the franchise. Also in the mix is newcomer John Cena, who will play the role of the younger brother Dom with a special kind of resentment against his brother.

Interestingly, another important action star is preparing for a spacewalk in his next film. Tom Cruise is producing a film set in space, actually shooting in space with the help of Elon Musk and NASA. Remains to be seen if fans prefer the action in space F9 or what you get to see Cruise in the film.

Directed by Justin Lin, Vin Diesel has F9, John Cena, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel and Sung Kang, with Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron and Cardi B. The film reaches cinemas April 2, 2021.
